Armenian Neume System of Notation

Based on the manuscript sources of the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Erevan), this study not only traces the origin and development of the Armenian system of notation called Khazs (Neumes), but also re-creates the tunes of the chants and songs composed over the centuries.
