This dual-site ethnography follows the celebration of Carnival from Trinidad to North America, where immigrant Trinidadian-Americans loyally perpetuate this annual cultural event. It explores the Carnival tradition transported from Trinidad by the immigrant Trinis living in Brooklyn, New York.
