Histoire de la Revolution Francaise

The writings of the French historian and politician Louis Blanc (1811-82) had a considerable influence on the development of French socialism. Volume 10 of this twelve-volume history, first published in 1858, focuses on the Reign of Terror, led by Robespierre, fuelled by tensions between the Girondins and the Jacobins.
