Setting out the basics of designing, conducting and analysing an evaluation study in healthcare, this work takes a practical approach, assuming no previous knowledge or experience of evaluation. It covers basics, including: how to plan an evaluation; research governance and ethics; understanding data; interpreting findings; and writing a report.
