Estuaries

An estuary is the tidal mouth of a large river, and is a marine area where freshwater and saltwater meet. This book examines the physical aspects of estuaries, and has been updated to include new research on sediment dynamics, estuarine mixing mechanisms, effects of global warming, and mathematical modeling of estuarine physics.
