Catalyzing Inquiry at the Interface of Computing and Biology

Advances in computer science and biology have opened up the possibility for computing to help answer fundamental questions in biology. The result of a study requested of the NRC, this report provides the basis for establishing a collaboration between biology and computing, including an analysis of impediments and strategies for overcoming them.
