Diary of a Colonial Wife

This is an account of the life of a colonial service wife in Nigeria between 1939 and 1957. The book aims to counteract the commonly-held stereotype of the colonial "memsahib" as haughty and racist and reveals the author's concern for social welfare in Nigeria.
