Downstream

Downstream is a history and celebration of swimmers' relationship with the River Thames. Weaving from the source in Gloucestershire 215 miles across to the North Sea, the book tells the story of all those who have been drawn to its waters, from kings and famous poets, to Victorian endurance swimmers and modern day triathletes.
