Form of God, Form of a Servant

This book examines the Greek noun morphe to discover Paul's meaning in portraying Christ as existing in the "form of God" but taking on the "form of a servant" in Philippians 2:6-7. Using a synchronic approach to lexical semantics, this book examines the use of morphe in church and history.
