Model Water Sharing Agreements for the Twenty-first Century

Recognizing the need for standards and principles for water sharing, ASCE's Task Committee for the Shared Use of Transboundary Water Resources reviews transboundary agreements to develop model codes to limit the potential for conflict, and provides a balance between use of the water for economic purposes, public health, and ecological protection.
