New Deal Art in North Carolina

Following the Great Depression, 42 towns in North Carolina would benefit directly from the more than $83 million that the federal government would allocate for public art as part of the New Deal program. This volume provides a record of all of the North Carolina towns and structures which received federal artwork under the program.
