Reaching for the Moon - On Asian Religious Paths

The title of this book is inspired by a Japanese Zen image of a monkey reaching for the image of the moon reflected in a pond. One of the themes of the book is that the reflected image, while not the truth in and of itself, reflects the truth and is thus worth reaching for.
