S-Stem Nouns and Adjectives in Greek and Proto-Indo-European

It is often difficult to establish why certain things are expressed in a certain formal way. This book examines a group of nouns and adjectives, all formed with the same suffix and explains their morphology and semantics, since prehistoric times throughout the Classical period of Greek, to help further our understanding of the Greek language.
