Sixty years after its first publication, Blue Guides is issuing a reprint of its 1953 guide to London, including the original street and transport maps, floor plans, and detailed descriptions of a great city recovering from war. There was a young Queen on the throne and the guide presents a fascinating portrait of a vanished but familiar city.
