Spain and the Mediterranean in the Later Middle Ages

These papers centre on the Crown of Aragon in the later Middle Ages: its achievements (the more remarkable given the very evident problems with which it was beset) and especially its role in the Mediterranean. The focus is the transmission of learning and how this learning is used in a new context.
