Transformation of a Peasant Economy

This text offers an evalution of the way in which the economy of the area around Lutterworth changed from its basically agrarian economy to one encompassing "town farmers" and distributors of agricultural products. Craftsmen in weaving, wood, building and metalwork are also considered.
