Two Trips to Gorilla Land and the Cataracts of the Congo

First published in 1876, this two-volume work describes two expeditions in West Africa undertaken by explorer and diplomat Richard Burton during his consulship in Equatorial Guinea in the 1860s. The second volume records Burton's journey to Loango Bay and up the Congo River.
